Salisbury and South Wiltshire Railway Society was founded in 1964 and has grown from
strength to strength over the past fifty years. It is essentially a small society
catering for members with a variety of railway interests and not exclusively railway
modellers. At present we meet every Friday from 7.00pm to 10.30pm in a clubroom within
a member’s house in Salisbury.
A test-track in 00 and N gauge is usually available and there are opportunities to
chat over a cup of tea or coffee. The Society holds an annual exhibition in May,
and at least one railway-based outing and two social events annually. If you would
like to join us you are welcome to come along on any Friday, or contact our Secretary
for further information.
